University for women in AJK

It takes a time to setup a university, however, the women's university in AJK is vital and for that a complete and perfect planning is required. This was said by Begum Shehnaz Wazir Ali, Advisor to PM Pakistan on Social Welfare . She is also the chairperson of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. She was talking to PM AJK in a meeting at KashmirHouse.
Discussing the proposed project, AJK Prime Minister SardarMuhammad Yaqoob Khan said that the proposed university could not be established at a place that would not be accessible because the Higher Education Commission had rejected the land earmarked by previous AJK government for being at unsuitable place.
Present AJK government, however, has allocated the land between Sehansa and Pullandari, which suits for the project and is convenient for all the districts of the state.
Sardar Yaqoob deplored that not a single medical college could be established in AJK in last 60 years, but now three medical colleges , one with the support of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation and two by United Arab Emirate, would be established in AJK.
The work on medical colleges would start in three months and over two million Kashmiri people living around the world would extend help in this regard.
The PM AJK said the HEC delegation should visit and inspect the land earmarked for women university and assured that AJK could give land for it any where in the State.
It was decided in the meeting that a HEC delegation would inspect the land earmarked for proposed university.
