Our Background
Press for Peace was established in 1999 in Muzaffarabad- Pakistan Administered Jammu & Kashmir. Initially, the objectives of the organisation were set to focus on protection of human rights conditions locally. The focus of our activities was on different segments of society including working journalists, prisoners, minorities, highly vulnerable children and women.
