PFP Chief Awarded MA MAG degree by British University



Nottingham: Renowned Kashmiri journalist and human rights activist Zafar Iqbal has been awarded MA Media and globalization degree by the Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK.
He received his degree from Sir Michael Parkinson, Chancellor of the NTU in an impressive gradation ceremony held at the historic Royal Concert Hall.
Dr. Joost van Lone, Course Director of the School of Media, Communication and Arts and Dr. Chris Farrands Principal Lecturer, International Relations appreciated his commitment and devotion to the media studies and expressed their hope that his recently acquired knowledge of international media would not only prove an asset for himself but also for his community. Press for Peace (PFP) representatives Mazhar Iqbal and Chaudhry Sarfraz were also present on the occasion and greeted him upon his recent achievement.
During the course of his studies in the Nottingham Trent University he completed a research project on patterns of globalization and regionalization in contemporary South Asia. Noted academician and researcher Dr. Chris Farrands supervised his dissertation.-PR
