Press For Peace (PFP) will celebrate world Earth Day on April 22 to express its commitment for the protection and conservation of natural resources. The day is being celebrated each year to inspire awareness and appreciation for Earth’ environment. Different events have been organized to celebrate the day under different offices and units of the PFP to express its solidarity with world community for the noble cause of protection of mother Earth. A Consultation would be held in a local community centre to raise the awareness about the alarming threats related to climate change. A special lecture would be delivered by young ecologist Ejaz ur Rehman about the current global environment scenario. The PFP Jammu and Kashmir would also mark the Earth Day by arranging different events in major cities and towns.
