Peace is a dream for Kashmiris
10-year-old Qurat-ul-Ain in Srinagar said to a reporter “someone has taken our lands, my brother has gone out to protest against it and I am out to search my brother”.
This is not first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir that people are protesting against illegal occupation of their lands.
There is much history on why disagreements over Kashmir have created political problems: they began with the handing over of Kashmir to India in 1947 and have continued with rigged elections, poor governance, military occupation and militancy.
Peace on this part of world has become a dream. People are once again out to shout against another injustice.
